Brake problems aren’t automatically brake pads. Noise, vibration, poor braking performance or warning lights can come from pads, rotors, calipers, hydraulic problems, wheel bearings and other components.
We inspect the braking system, identify the source of the problem and explain what actually needs attention before recommending repairs.

Fix What It Needs

Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement
Brake pads and rotors are wear items, but replacing them shouldn’t be automatic just because there’s a noise or vibration.
We inspect pad thickness, rotor condition, caliper operation and related components before recommending repairs.
When replacement is needed, we’ll explain what we found and what’s required to restore proper braking performance.
Calipers, Hydraulic Systems
Not every brake problem happens at the pad and rotor.
Sticking calipers, damaged brake hoses, fluid leaks and hydraulic problems can cause pulling, uneven wear, excessive heat or changes in pedal feel.
We inspect the hydraulic system and related components to identify what's causing the problem before recommending repairs.
Master Cylinders, Brake Boosters & Hydroboost
A soft, sinking or unusually hard brake pedal can point to problems beyond the brakes at the wheels.
We diagnose and repair brake master cylinders, vacuum brake boosters and hydroboost systems when problems with hydraulic pressure or brake assist affect pedal feel and braking performance.
The symptoms can overlap, so we test the system to determine whether the problem is hydraulic, related to brake assist, or somewhere else in the braking system before recommending any repair.s.
Brake Fluid & Hydraulic Service
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time and can become contaminated, affecting the condition and performance of the hydraulic braking system.
We perform brake fluid exchanges when required by the vehicle’s maintenance schedule or when fluid condition indicates service is appropriate.
We also inspect brake hoses, lines, connections and hydraulic components for leaks or deterioration when diagnosing low fluid, changes in pedal feel or other braking concerns.
ABS & Electronic Brake Systems
Modern braking systems rely on more than hydraulics. Wheel-speed sensors, wiring, ABS modules and other electronic components work together with the mechanical braking system.
If the ABS light, brake warning light or stability-control warning is on, we can diagnose the system to determine what caused the fault rather than replacing parts based on the warning light alone.
Electronic parking brake systems and other vehicle-specific braking components are also considered when diagnosing brake concerns.
